My name is Kristine Nyborg, it’s pronounced Kristina and my pronouns are she/her. I make honest pictures of daily life. Everywhere there’s everyday, and everywhere it’s different. I have photographed in the Arctic regions, exploring subsistence lifestyles, animal care, and the warmth of humanity in some of the coldest places on earth. I am currently working on photographs that communicate loss of cultural immersion and language. This work is influenced by my own experiences as a Norwegian in North America, blending in but always slightly out of sync.
