Happy New Year, people!

I hope you had an amazing holiday season, a stellar New Year’s celebration and have set yourself obtainable goals for the new year. My list includes more puzzles, less time on my phone and more quality time with my family. Also work. Work is a big one this year.

I still remember watching Back to the Future part II in the ‘80s feeling like their future was so far away. It was 2015! So far! And here we are, even further into the future, 2019, and I still feel like it’s just all sci-fi and I’ll wake up in my 1985 bedroom at any moment.

Also glad this won’t be the case, considering I was only a kid, had very strange looking clothing and barely got to decide anything for myself (I was 7, and I’m still feeling a bit cheated that the hover-board didn’t happen).

This year a lot will change in my world, which is making me a very excited grown-up. Firstly, I’ve updated my .com (this is it, you are here already) for the first time since I had kids an now getting back to work. Secondly I’m adding teaching to my business which I am beyond excited about (more on this later). Thirdly, my two youngest will start kindergarten in the fall, which means I will get more time to do all the above things.
